Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her career with support roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played the character of reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. She also had an accent in FX's sluggish series The Ex List. In the first season of FX's American Horror Story, she played Moira O'Hara's younger character. Then she played Kaylee in season three. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She has voiced various characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. She has been the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge lived in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10, when she and her mother moved to California. There, they went through a few different places before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to be interested in singing, acting and photography at the age of 13. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 years old, to pursue her acting career.
